Current Openings with Bulkmatic Transport Company include:
Dispatcher
Dispatch loads during off hours. Work 12 hour
shifts, working 4 days on and 4 days off. Days of
week working will vary every week and will include
weekends. Required overtime as needed.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements |

Work experience or equivalency of at least 3-5 years
of dispatching or related field in trucking
industry. |
| |
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and
dispatchers to assure accurate, timely delivery of
loads. |
| |
Above average computer literacy, knowledge of McLeod
a plus. Experience navigating on a computer
using 2 screens, retrieving data and working on
customer computers as well as in-house programs. |
| |
Decision making skills. |
| |

|
| Essential Functions |
| |
Assign loads in accordance with the availability of
drivers, destination of loads, driver experience and
qualifications, to assure compliance with company
policy and all DOT and safety
regulations. |
| |
Work directly with customers to accept and fill
orders. |
| |
Take off-hour calls as needed in order to resolve
and service issues. |
| |
Take orders from customers, using a computer and
search using a computer for availability of
tractor/trailers that correspond with loads. |
| |
Stay on top of load delivery schedule to assure
on-time performance. |
| |
Double-check
driver assignments for every load, document
driver start and empty times, communicate
regularly with drivers via phone or Qualcomm
messages. |
| |
Alert drivers when special equipment is needed,
such as hoses, fittings and other specific
information for the load. |
| |
Master Bulkmatic business and product lines to
facilitate communications. |
