TANK WASHER
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements |
| |
At least 18 yrs of age to be in compliance with
federal and state labor laws. |
| |
Ability to do physically demanding work, classified
as heavy duty, as evidenced by satisfactorily taking
and passing a physical exam. |
| |
Ability to pass a drug screen as required for safety
sensitive positions. |
| |
Driver's license w/proper endorsement to jockey
and/or take tractor trailer out on a public highway. |
| |
Ability to wear personal protective clothes, gear,
and use apparatus as needed. |
| Essential Functions
Tank Washer must be
able to: |
| |
Walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, squat,
kneel, see and climb upon a tank and enter
through manway into interior of cargo tank |
| |
Properly use cleaning equipment such as
hoses and other apparatus that may weigh as much
as 100 lbs. |
| |
Work within a confined space. |
| |
Grasp
and make proper use of high pressure wash wand
and water hose. |
| |
Stand and work on sometimes uneven and/or
slippery surfaces, both inside and atop
trailers. |
| |
Properly disassemble, inspect, clean and
reassemble tank appurtenances. |
| |
Work required shifts and overtime as needed. |
| |
Job duties are not limited to just the
ones listed. |
