Logistics Administrator/ Part-time


Job Description: Bulkmatic is currently hiring a Part-Time Logistics Administrator at our Birmingham, AL location. This position will assist the Terminal Manager with the daily administrative responsibilities of the transportation, maintenance facility, tank wash and transloading operations.

This position will be located on-site at our Birmingham, AL terminal with flexible schedule options.

Job Requirements: Major Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining inventory using a variety of different inventory systems
  • Conducting yard checks at the terminal and at off-site at customer facility
  • Creating BOLs and assisting drivers picking up deliveries
  • Assisting 8-10 on-site associates with paperwork to aid in the completion of daily tasks to meet production goals.
  • Organizing and reviewing driver's paperwork
  • Tracking and ordering raw materials and office inventory
  • Processing and submitting vendor invoices for payment to Accounts Receivable
  • Communicating between Terminal and other company departments
  • Answering phones and filing terminal paperwork
  • SAP and inventory management
Experience Requirements:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate by email
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3 years of administrative office experience preferred
Education Requirements:
  • Associate degree or comparable work experience
