Job Description: The
Lead Diesel Technician/Shop Supervisor will be responsible for all maintenance aspects and management of our Bulkmatic shop to include supervision of other assigned mechanics.
Pay: This position pays
Up to $35 per Hour based on experience.
We are now offering a $3,000 Sign-on Bonus for this position! Shift: Monday- Friday; 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM
Primary Duties
- Responsible for troubleshooting repairs and addressing issues, problems and discrepancies
- Perform diesel repairs and maintenance, complete shop projects and assignments as required or requested by management.
- Manage the day to day activity of the shop including inventory, supervision of employees and workload assignments.
- Complete required data entry, reporting and paperwork requirements.
- Assist and communicate with the Terminal Manager and Regional Maintenance Director to ensure safety, efficiency and to promote the growth and success of the operation.
- Lead and implement operational practices and policies to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, customer expectations and company standards
- Promote clean and safe working conditions
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors, other company terminals, departments and co-workers.

Job Requirements:
Experience & Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient computer and typing skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to pass, to Bulkmatic's satisfaction, all pre-employment tests and checks
- Must be able to perform basic math
- Valid driver's license
- 10 years of management or supervisory experience preferred
- Heavy duty-diesel mechanic experience
- Motivated to work independently and complete assignments
Education
- Must have completed high school or equivalent education
- Related certifications desired but not required
