Job Description: The Carrier Sales Representative position will be part of the company's Brokerage Division. This role will be responsible for the day to day communication chain between the company and their clients. In addition, will be responsible for all carrier communications from onboarding, to quoting, to order entry. Additionally, following up with regular carriers outreach to secure business from both new and established carriers is a key part of this position. Top applicants should have experience in sales and exceptional customer service skills.
Job Requirements:
  • Keep TMS and CRM systems up-to-date with the most accurate information to ensure company stakeholders have the best and most up to date information on the clients.
  • Thoroughly document any communication with the customers and fully understand any specialized requests by customers.
  • Communicate customer needs, requirements and preferences to Transportation Capacity Coordinators and the carriers that they assign.
  • Work with Transportation Capacity Coordinators to secure and verify carrier selection.
  • Make outbound calls to leads.
  • Field inbound leads from the company's Asset Division or other sources.
  • Develop a carrier network to support company Shippers.
