Job Description: At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.
Home Time: At our Decatur Terminal,our drivers primarily handle local work. Most of our drivers are HOME DAILY, but there may be an occasional overnight stay depending on customer needs and scheduling demands.
In Decatur, we operate a Dedicated Customer Account, which means we're looking for drivers who value being home frequently but are also flexible and willing to stay out overnight when needed.You can expect some weeks where you'll be home every night, and other weeks where a short overnight may be required. Bulkmatic provides hotel accommodations and a per diem for any overnight stays to ensure your comfort on the road.There is some weekend workat this location.
Pay:
Bulkmatic drivers in Decatur, AL are currently averaging $75,000- $85,000 per year. We are also offering a $3,000 sign-on Bonus!! Ask our recruiters about the weekly Safety Incentive that lets you earn more money! About the Job: Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment.
