CDL A Driver

Job Description:

At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.

Pay:
Drivers at this location currently earn between $95,000- $115,000 per year.At this location the current average is $105,000/ year. Drivers are paid weekly. We are offering a $5,000 bonus to Toledo new hires.

Home Time:
In Toledo, our drivers do a combination of local and regional work. The current drivers can expect to be out an average of 2-3 nights per MONTH. Depending on freight, there will be some weeks when a driver is home every night and other weeks when they stay out. Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms and a per diem for overnight stays.

About the Job:
Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. Wehave extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required.

Job Requirements:

• Be at least 23 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
  • Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
• Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
• Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
• You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
• Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
