Job Description: Bulkmatic is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers in Omaha. A Shuttle Driver position is different from our standard driver position because it does not require loading or unloading of the trailers. Drivers will primarily shuttle trailers from Omaha/ Council Bluffs to Kansas on a dedicated run.
Home Time:
Shuttle Drivers are expected to be Home Daily with two schedule options available - Sunday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Saturday.There is some evening work required when needed. Schedules can vary depending on freight. Weekend work is required for this position based on the schedule. If there is an unexpected night out, Bulkmatic pays for hotel rooms for overnight stays.
Pay:
Shuttle Drivers are expected to Average between $85,000- $90,000 annually.

Job Requirements:
- Be at least 23 years old to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle interstate
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
- Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
- Military driving experience will be considered.
- Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, andto make entries on reports and records
- Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
- Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
- Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
- You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
- Hazmatendorsement required at certain locations. Tank endorsement not required for dry bulk.
- Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No Speeding Violations of 15+ mph or over pending or adjudicated in the last 3 years
- No Careless / Reckless driving convictions within past 3 years
- No Erratic or Improper lane change violations within the last 3 years.
- No Distraction or Handheld device violations within the past 1 year.
- No alcohol or drug related violations within the past 10 years.
- The following are not allowed in the past 3 years:
- Preventable accidents: Head on, Rollover, Rear End, Jackknife, Struck side of other vehicle
- No more than 1 Preventable Road accident in the past 3 years
- No more than a combination of 1 Preventable Road accident and 1 Preventable off-road accident in past 3 years
- No more than 2 Preventable off-road accidents allowed in the past 3 years
- No safety related suspensions or Suspensions resulting from a previous citation/violation in last 10 years
- Not more than 1 administrative suspension in last 3 years, not more than 2 in the last 5 years
