CDL A Driver

Job Description:

At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.

Home Time:
Drivers at this terminal load and deliver primarily in the Columbus area. Based on freight, there will be weeks when a driver is home every night, but there can be an occasional night out. Currently, Columbus drivers average 1 night out every other week. Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms and a per diem for overnight stays.

Pay: Bulkmatic drivers in the Columbus area are currently Averaging$95,000- $105,000 for the year and we are now offering a weeklypay guarantee!!!

About the Job:
Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required.

Job Requirements:

• Be at least 23 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
  • Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
• Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
• Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
• You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
• Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
