Job Description: We are currently hiring for a Night Shift CDL A Driver position at our Decatur, AL terminal. Typical start times are between 10 p.m.- 2 a.m.

Home Time:
At our Decatur Terminal our drivers on the night shift position are expected to haul primarily LOCAL WORK. However, there are some regional runs based on custormer needs so drivers should expect to be out on the road 1 time per week. There may be weeks when a driver is home every night and some weeks when a driver needs to stay out. Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms and a per diem when drivers are out on regional runs.
There is some weekend work at this location.
Pay:
Bulkmatic drivers in Decatur, AL are currently averaging between $75,000- $85,000 per year.We are offering a $3,000 sign-on Bonus!! Ask our recruiters about the recently Increased Weekly Safety Pay Incentive that allows Drivers to earn extra cash each week!
About the Job:
Being a driver for Bulkmatic is a more physical job than driving for many other companies. Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. We have extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. No Pneumatic Experience Required.

Job Requirements:
- Be at least 23 years old
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.
- Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.
- Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSA
- Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSA
- Meet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description
- You must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.
- Must have a clean or acceptable driving record
- Ability or operate/inspect equipment safely
